Photos:Army Evacuate Over 500 Bajoga Schoolgirls To Avoid Chibok Tragedy

The army personnel positioned in the town of Bajoga in Gombe State, while Boko Haram insurgents attack the town yesterday’s morning, firstly evacuated the students of the all girls school to avoid a repeat of what happen in Chibok. Dozens of people were reportedly killed on Thursday, on December 4th, when gunmen suspected to be members of the Boko Haram sect attacked Bajoga town in northeast Gombe State.

The raid follows a string of attacks by Boko Haram insurgents, including a suicide bomb and gun attack on a mosque in the northern city of Kano last Friday, which left at least 120 people dead.
It would be recalled that more than 200 girls were abducted on April 14 by Boko Haram in Chibok of the troubled Borno State. Despite both the military and social involvement of various countries worldwide, the majority of students are still missing.
