An explosion rocked a bus station in Gombe in the morning of October 31, 2014, Friday, PremiumTimes report.According to residents and witnesses, the scene of the tragedy is popular and crowded Gombe Line Transport Services Limited.
Lots of details of the explosion remain unclear.
A resident of the area, who introduced himself as Abdulrahman Suae, said he saw about five people being transported to the Gombe General Hospital. However, the condition of these persons could not be verified.
The police and security services have reportedly cordoned the area off. Emergency officials are doing the best to evacuate the victims to nearby hospitals.
The official reaction of Gombe State Command of the Nigeria Police Force is awaited.
