Nigerian Doctor who Treated Liberian Ebola Victim Tested positive for the Virus

Sad news reaching us this afternoon.
One of the doctors who treated Patrick Sawyer, the Liberian Ebola Virus victim who died in Nigeria, has tested positive for the virus, according to Sahara Reporters.
Minister of Health, Onyebuchi Chukwu, reportedly revealed that two other people who are currently in quarantine, are displaying Ebola-like symptoms. However, it is yet to be confirmed whether they actually have the virus.
He said a total of 70 Nigerians who came in contact with the late Sawyer, including two other medical personnel who treated him, had been quarantined and placed under surveillance.“All those who had contact with the late Sawyer depending on the level of contact are still being traced and being invited everyday and they are placed under surveillance just to ensure that the spread of disease is curtailed.” he said.
