Dada had clocked 70 on the 14th of February and to mark the event, she hosted a classy party at her private residence in Victoria Island. The bigger celebration came two days later when she wedded her sweetheart.
The wedding which was a very private affair was attended by the likes of Sisi Abah Folawiyo, Senator Florence Ita-Giwa, Ireti Asemota, Yewande Onileere, Yemisi Ransome-Kuti and many others.
Dada Marquis is one of Nigeria's first set of female architects. She had been married to late Dr Basil Onibuche, a prominent Lagos politician, but the marriage later floundered after a few children.
The groom, Gaby Yardua, who is from Edo state is rich and he is an unmistakable figure in Lagos social circles. Now retired, Gabby had held a high managerial position in Guinness Nigeria Plc. He belongs to many Lagos social clubs and was recently the Chairman of Abe Igi Club in Shitta, Surulere, Lagos.
Sources say his last boo before Dada was ex Lagos State Permanent Secretary, Mrs Deorike Durosimi-Etti.
