UPDATE: Boko Haram Kills Dozens, Burns Buildings In Adamawa State Villages

Suspected members of Boko Haram terrorist sect on Wednesday night attacked a number of villages in Madagali and Michika LGAs in Adamawa State.









At about 4 p.m., the gunmen first attacked Kirchiga Village before entering Shuwa town, one of the border towns between Borno and Adamawa states. They entered in Toyota Hilux pickup trucks, and were armed with rocket-propelled grenade launcher and explosives.
The casualties' number is yet to be determined, with some sources saying nine to thirteen people were killed. The gunmen set ablaze multiple houses, commercial banks and shops mainly  located along Maiduguri-Gombi-Adamawa federal highway.
Also, according to our reader Jimmy Mallum's update, EYN church no.1 in Michika, the Local Government Secreteriat, Federal Science and Technical College in Michika, a missionary school in Shuwa and most likely Bazza town were under severe attack.
Local residents have fled the area.
