2019: Atiku Clears The Air On Speculations

Nigeria’s former vice president, Atiku Abubakar, has opened up on speculations surrounding his ambitions for 2019 presidential election.
Atiku, a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC), dismissed insinuations that he and the current leadership of the National Assembly maybe working underground to actualise their 2019 presidential ambition.
According to Thisday, the Turakin Adamawa, instead, wants the party members to embrace one another in the wake of the issues surrounding the emergence of Bukola Saraki and Yakub Dogara as the senate president and house of representatives speaker respectively.
A statement released by his media office on Sunday, signed by Mazi Paul Ibe, revealed that the former vice president urged all party men to accept what happened in the National Assembly as mere interplay of politics in the interest of the system and the party.
