President Goodluck Jonathan picked up his N22m nomination form for 2015 presidential elections at the Headquarters of the ruling Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) on October 30, 2014, Thursday.
The event was aired live by Channels TV from Wadata Plaza, Abuja.
Those present at ceremony sang “This is the day that the Lord has made”. Then the Minister of the FCT, Bala Mohammed, welcomed President Jonathan at the ceremony.
In his speech, which was described by many Nigerians as ‘colourless’, the president expressed his gratitude to PDP Governors Forum, TAN, NEC, others for their contributions to the purchase of the form.
“We have set up the structure. We will never go back. We will move faster,” President Jonathan declared.
