The R&B singer made this news public through a media rep who confirmed things to news men. According to the rep, Brandy and Ryan are no longer together, the engagement is off, but they are still friends.
Brandy who is now 35, formally made her engagement to music executive, Ryan, in December 2012. But according to her rep, the couple have decided to take a step back and reevaluate their relationship.

Brandy currently has a 12-year-old daughter, Syria, with her ex boyfriend Robert Smith; but the singer has never been married before.
According to her rep, "Brandy has a daughter and she still wants to be married and have more kids but she is working on so many other things right now," the rep adds.
"Things with Ryan couldn't be more amicable, however. "They haven't ended things on a bad note and they still speak all the time."
